I'm offering two Friday morning open studios to keep the fire burning for the traditional Friday morning class that won't start until mid February.
On these two drop-in dates (Jan. 19th & Feb. 2nd) I will be offering, as a prompt, a special hand-made book-making project designed to help you use your odd doodles, scraps, gelli-plate papers, photos of paintings and curious imagery you find in magazines, all folded into an art journal that will help you integrate aspects of your creative flow ~ a "Junk Journal" of sorts seeded with very personal meaning.
Alternatively you can use the space and time to complete any projects or paintings from 2023 that are still calling you. Alternatively you can use the open studio space to finish other projects, or create a Vision Board - flat, floating or as a 3-d shrine-box.
If you are brand new to the studio you can join the bookmaking project with imagery you bring with you, or harvest images from magazines and painted papers here in the studio, or consider creating a Vision Board/mobile/shrine. I have all the supplies + journaling prompts to get you going.
