Who doesn’t want to live a more passionately turned on life? What if the difference between surviving and thriving depended on conscious communication with your Soul and your soul’s consort, ‘The Muse’: that which deeply inspires us?
In this workshop, we’ll actively court our Muse by noticing their subtle presence; through dreams, colors and images that catch our eye, objects that leap at us on nature walks and fragments of poetry that move us. Using a variety of prompts, we will begin a creative dialog with our Muse to find out what she really wants from us and for our lives.
This 7 week series of Intuitive Painting will begin with a ceremony invoking our personal Muse and end with a powerful process to harvest and honor the creative gifts she has brought. Over the course of the 7 weeks we will stir the creative juices awakening and strengthening our relationships to imagination and inspiration - one brush stroke at a time.
Each participant will receive an art journal and weekly prompts to keep the connection with your Muse alive and growing wild between sessions.
*Class size limited to 10 - there will be 1 open studio make-up sessions offered during the 7 weeks for missed classes, also students may makeup a class in the saturday afternoon intuitive painting class when there is space.

Intuitive Painting is a journey with color, shape and imagery that leads straight to the heart of your own Soul.
You will learn to befriend your Muse (the intuitive voice within) and paint from your heart and soul with a table of luscious tempera paints, brushes of all sizes, plenty of white paper and lots of encouragement. Together we will create a safe and sacred environment that supports you in listening to your intuition and facing the unknown in your creative journey not with fear but with curiosity.
This is not an art technique class and there will be no critiques or comparisons. Our focus is on bringing out your own unique expression and intimacy with the source of your imagination, or, The Muse.
No previous art experience is expected or required.
