All weekend we’ll be inviting the Wisdom of our Wild Intuitive Mind and be inspired to deepen our sense of belonging with the more-than-human world as a pathway to ecological wholeness.
You’ll discover the power of the deep imagination to guide and heal your birthright connection with the spirit of Nature.
The experiences, prompts and space we hold together as a group allow ample time for tuning in, listening deeply, and creating from the heart.
Time and time again, we see that genuine art changes the world and the way we arrive within it. When we courageously engage the creative process — as individuals and as a community — we effect shifts in our social landscape, our internal sense of support, and our unique self-expression.
Like the mandala you see below, we are drawing on multiple streams of practice, weaving the creative heart, breathing body, quiet mind, and living earth together.
In our weekend together you’ll learn about the 4 aspects of integrative arts:
Contemplative Practice: leading us to the capacity for being with ‘what is, as it is’
Embodied Presence: moving beyond the thinking/verbal mind to discover a deeper knowing
Creativity of Expressive Art Making: bringing the story to life and expressing art as generosity
Interconnection experienced through Deep Earth Listening: restoring our sense of belonging and sacred contract with the living earth.
You’ll experience these aspects directly through unique experiential modalities including:
authentic movement,
medicine walks in nature
intuitive art making & writing
dharma arts practices
deep sharing and listening
The weekend will include self-directed time outside in nature, opportunities for light movement, and an invitation to quiet the mind and re-align with the sacred elements of belonging.
We’ll emerge from this confluence of practices over the course of the weekend with a fresh way of perceiving the world and our place in it. The world’s situation doesn’t change in this brief time we share, but the way we respond to it changes considerably. We discover deeper levels of support and, using everything, we gain a broader view. Perhaps we achieve some amount of ease within uneasy times.
