Join Elise Crohn and a group of 10 other travelers for an enchanted year of reconnecting with the dream of Earth.
We will be meeting on the Saturday or Sunday closest to the Full Moon each month of 2023 for 4 hour art based mini-retreats.
This will be a rich year of creative exploration as moon by moon we’ll dive deeply into understanding and healing ourselves and the world weaving together 3 main experiential studies:
Creating with the archetypal stages of the Great Round of Mandala as developed by pioneer art therapist Joan Kellogg
Exploring the stages of Eco-Soul development as developed by Bill Plotkin of Animas Valley Institute
Re-connection to the natural rhythms of the moon-based calendar and life as presented in the Dreamfruit Almanac by Elizabeth Russell.
In this year long devotion you will use a variety of materials and learn to create mandalas for each of the 12 stages of life identified by Joan Kellogg and expressed by Susan Fincher in The Mandala Workbook.

We will work with these mandalas in terms of the stages of psychological development identified by Bill Plotkin in his groundbreaking book Nature and the Human Soul where he contrasts Ego-centric vs. Eco-centric Soul development:
Finally, our explorations will be held within the context of the brilliant Moon-Planner called “Dreamfruit Almanac” within which we will notice and track the moon, the sun, our connection to the earth and our inner worlds of emotions, dreams and desires.
Page by page you will learn to creatively reconnect with the elements of earth, air, fire and water through art practices that will get you OUTSIDE and also take you deeply INSIDE.

In the Magical Mandala Moon Year program, you will tap into lunar energies with 4 hour Full Moon mini - retreats, held on Saturday or Sunday afternoons closest to the actual Full Moon* where you will experience:

Attend the 30 minute New Moon Cafe each month (The Saturday closest to each NEW MOON) and get the astrological and mystical “download” of the Dreamfruit lunation from Elizabeth Russell.
(Registration for Elizabeth’s on-line New Moon cafe is separate, here.)That evening or the next day, you will also receive an email from Elise with additional mandala related creative prompts and creative processes to explore within your Dreamfruit until our in-person meeting at the Full Moon of each month, two weeks later (held the first Saturday or Sunday closest to the Full Moon — see dates below).
Attend the in-person Full Moon event at Juicy Creatives Studio, 4 hour mini-retreats where you will experience:
Discussion of the Mandala and Eco-centric development stage each particular Dreamfruit Moon represents.
Create mandalas with interesting materials that experientially get to the heart of each lunation paired with developmental exercises and experiences that may involve writing prompts, collage work, light movement, guided meditations and more.
Leave the retreat with tips, suggestions and handouts to play with in your Dreamfruit over the next two weeks including suggested outings into close-by nature with your Dreamfruit and art supplies all designed to facilitate connection to your creative energy and the web of life all around you.

TheMoonCircle™card blanks we will collage with each month were developed by profoundly inspired Cat Caracelo, creatrix of the Journey Path Institute, from which Elise is certified as a Creative Depth Coach.
You will receive 13 MoonCircles™ cards to map your experience with the Moons of 2023, as well as 8 spiral path cards to map your stages of Eco-centric Soul Development, 8 key cards to map archetypes of the stages and 8 portal cards to map the right of passage required to move into each successive stage of development:
🌔 the cards are double sided, symbolically rich and energetically distinctive.
🌔 designed to be used as an expressive arts tool, they can be collaged, painted and used as a base for mixed media and/or word-art.
