Many of you know of, or have heard me speak about, the powerful force-of-nature and soul teacher Aviva Gold, author of "Painting from the Source: Awakening the Artist Soul in Everyone".
She is the wise and wild woman, who guided me first hand through the labyrinth into authentic creative expression, and then mentored me in the art of facilitating creative freedom in others. Very sadly, this Goddess of the Mysterious Path of Soul, passed away last week after a long illness, leaving the planet at the auspicious time of the Super Blue Moon on August 31st.
To honor her legacy I am holding an in-person and zoom memorial for her at Juicy Creatives Studio on Thursday Nov. 2nd (All Soul’s Day) from noon until 8pm EST.
You can stop by in-person, or join us on zoom any time during the memorial day.
I will have a BIG pot of lentil soup on the stove (you can bring some food or drink to share if you choose)
Painting boards will be set up inside the studio and outside under the pergola.
There will be tables set up for oil pastel drawing if you would prefer to join the Source Expression in that way.
There will be a group altar where you can light a candle and make an offering or prayer for Aviva and any of your loved ones who have passed away.
We will paint and draw from the Source trusting our intuition and the process in the special way that Aviva brought into the world.
At the beginning of each hour from 12pm - 7pm EST I will check the zoom to see who wants to be let into the zoom-room, and welcome new in-person celebrants to join in the Source Art Celebration. We will have 15 minutes of sharing at the top of each hour for the new folks joining, the rest of each hour will be for painting and creating, and the zoom screen will be open so those at home can join in a virtual way.
From 7-8pm EST there will be a special closing ceremony with words of commemoration and a time for several participants to embody their paintings ~ embodiments of paintings have been the cornerstone of Aviva’s unique legacy and gift to the world of intuitive process painting.
