A 1-day plus workshop featuring the amazingly inventive, self-taught, local artist Scott Sims! Scott will share his innovative FUN methods, techniques and genius in a unique type of shell and mixed media mosaic he has developed. Spend the weekend immersed in creative process with his generous, fun creative spirit!
I am delighted to bring Scott to the studio for the first time. When I first met Scott I was blown away by his creative mosaics. Then when I started asking him about his work and his inspiration he said, "Well, you know the shells, they start talking to me, and telling me what they want and how they want to be put together!" In that instant I knew he had to come teach at Juicy Creatives!
2 days for the workshop is required as the mosaics must cure overnight to be grouted the next day. Expect to leave with one or two amazing, unique mosaic art pieces!
All materials are included but you may want to bring your own beads, baubles or pieces of broken jewelry to incorporate into your piece.
Bring a sack lunch, or dish to share for potluck .
