Find Your Pieces tell Your Story:
If you feel 2025 was A LOT and that there are energies, thoughts, experiences and vibrations you’d like to let go of, this workshop is for you!
You’re invited to express what needs to be released from this past year or other experiences from other times on the “canvas” of a specially prepared bowl.
With a swift whack of a hammer you will BRING CHANGE to those experiences giving you the opportunity to transform them through your creative act of painting, embellishing and reassembling the bowl into a new form.
About the Expressive Arts version of the ancient Japanese art of Kintsugi:
Each of us holds experiences that can make us feel broken. The Japanese art of Kintsugi allows us to embrace the broken places, accept what has changed and learn to create with what remains. By mending the cracks between our broken pieces, we build resilience and strength. Our beauty shines through the cracks, and we can find we are truly stronger in the broken places.
A picture is worth a thousand words, here are a few photos from past workshops.
A special thanks to Christa Brennan LCAT, LPC, ATR-BC, creator and developer of BROKEN BOWL ®, this very special Expressive Arts adaptation of the ancient Japanese art of Kintsugi.
And many thanks to The Expressive Arts Summit where I learned about Broken Bowl® and trained as a facilitator in the technique.
