In a world that can feel overwhelming, finding moments of peace and creativity is crucial for our well-being. This summer, embark on a transformative journey with Juicy Creatives’ Crafting for Calm workshops, where the art of mosaic-making becomes a pathway to serenity and self-expression.
Discover Your Creative Sanctuary
Join us as we delve into the mesmerizing world of mosaics. Whether you seek a deep spiritual connection, a casual creative escape, or both, this workshop is tailored to meet your personal needs. Create a meaningful mosaic shrine to honor your sense of the divine, assemble a "memory jug" to celebrate a loved one, or craft a dramatic, sparkly garden pole for your landscape or patio. Our sessions provide the materials, tools, and expertise to help you bring your vision to life.
The Art of Transformation
Experience the unique satisfaction of 3D collage, where fragments of mirror, tile, old jewelry, rocks, ceramic plates, and baubles come together to form something beautifully new. We encourage you to bring momentos from home—chipped dishes, cherished jewelry, or other treasures—and watch as they transform into a one-of-a-kind expression of you.
Hands-On Learning and Creation
Over time as you attend the sessions you'll master the basic tools of mosaic-making and have the opportunity to fire up the kiln, creating your own elements out of clay to incorporate into your shrines or sculptures.
Most supplies are included. Some handmade shrine bases, crafted by Peter, are available for an additional cost. The sessions are drop-in to accommodate summer travels.
Join us for this enchanting workshop and let your creativity flow as you find calm and inspiration through the art of mosaics.
