Poetry Apothecary + Beautiful Words:
Come put on your magical elf hat and create meaningful gifts in a fun and peaceful environment. We’ll start the morning off with a calming meditation then loosen up with color washes on watercolor paper. These papers can be used in a number of ways throughout the day to craft “Beautiful Word” vessels and Poetry Apothecary jars that you can fill with inspiring words and poems to give to loved ones (or yourself)!
An abundance of materials is provided to create many types of meaningful vessels.
Choose from an array of projects and create as much as you want.
Hearty vegetarian soup provided for lunch + bring a dish or snack to share or pack your own lunch if on a special diet.

⬆️ Beautiful Words ~ You’ll create colorful papers to fill with meaningful words of your own choosing - the words are lovingly torn from their colorful backgrounds and stored in decorated vessels to give as gifts (or keep for yourself!). These words are so fun to arrange into spontaneous poetry, tuck into a greeting card or use as a mini oracle deck, just think of a question, shake the jar and pull out a word or two:
⬆️ Poetry Apothecary: Craft beautiful apothecary bottles to contain the "medicine of poems" or affirmations. Choose from an array of bottles and decorative materials with help and instructions! Add charms, beads ribbons, stickers, pressed flowers and fill with scrolls of poems + rose petals and herbs.
⬆️ Poetry Cubes! First cover these wooden cubes in a variety of decorative papers, then add a beautiful word or line of poetry cut from the studio’s stash of books and magazines on each face of the cube. Voila — you have a fun interactive sculpture that tells different stories with each arrangement of the cubes.
⬆️ Personalized Glass Candle Holders: Using tissue paper, decorative napkins gold leaf, stickers and magazine images you can decoupage unique candle holders that glow with a tea light or fairy lights tucked inside.
