What happens when creative expression comes right out of a relaxed body and open mind?
This 6 week session encourages experimentation, self-discovery and creative community as we explore the relationship between mind-body-soul and creativity. Each session begins with 45 minutes to one hour of guided gentle yoga with Nice Pollido where we will find our creative pulse, and impulse, within the body. We then shift into creative practice and self-discovery with Intuitive Painting and other mediums where you can learn the joy of spontaneous creative expression as images are birthed from the Infinite Source within.
No painting or yoga experience is expected or required!
Intuitive Painting with Elise Crohn:
Intuitive Painting is a journey with color, shape and imagery that leads straight to the heart of your own Soul.
You will learn to befriend your Muse (the intuitive voice within) and paint from your heart and soul with a table of luscious tempera paints, brushes of all sizes, plenty of white paper and lots of encouragement. Together we will create a safe and sacred environment that supports you in listening to your intuition and facing the unknown in your creative journey not with fear but with curiosity.
This is not an art technique class and there will be no critiques or comparisons. Our focus is on bringing out your own unique expression and intimacy with the source of your imagination, or, The Muse.

Gentle Yoga with Nice Polido:
Nice Polido teaches a gentle approach to the practice of yoga, primarily based upon the teachings of Angela Farmer and Victor van Kooten. Using imagery and awareness of the breath, Nice's exceptional techniques combined with her unique and open manner allows students to experience and explore yoga postures with ease, encouragement and without judgment. Her classes are both playful and experiential, being less interested in the perfection of your pose and more interested in your own personal exploration and well being.
