Create with wild abandon--to the scintillating drum beats of our local treasure Michael Moses. Michael has offered ritual and ceremonial drumming for decades. Credits include: Music for the Dalai Lama's 1989 Nobel Peace Prize, 12 CDs recorded with Peter Kater, Trance Dance facilitation for Sting, 8 yrs collaboration with Master Drummer Baba Olatunji. Bring someone new to the studio, and you each get the class for 1/2 price!
There will be:
- a large group mandala to work on
- odd objects to paint (yes you have to come to see what that's about!)
- all the large paper and tempera paints you can shake a stick at
And speaking of sticks! Oh boy do we have STICKS to paint!!
Come and start where you are with:
- all the paint colors imaginable
- large sheets of white paper
- music to carry the creative energy along
- a free space with no judgment or comparison
- a creative ally - facilitator Elise Crohn - to help you through any stuck places
What you have to do:
- Bring a snack and/or beverage, if you'd like
- Wear comfortable clothes that you don't mind getting paint on
- Come with your heart and soul yearning to let loose.
There will be painting areas set up inside and out.
