Morning Art Journaling Session
Art Journaling the Juicy Way!
10:00am-12:30pm
Come learn some easy, fun tools and techniques that will launch your mixed media Art Journaling exploration! Art Journaling is the artist-of-life's sketchbook--a place to gather bits of imagery that grab you, lines of poems or song that move you, and color and texture that lights your inner artist on fire!
No previous art/journaing experience required!
For inspiration we will look at many artist's journal pages including Frida Kahlo's filled with ink blots and spills becoming drawings and writing tumbling over itself to become illustrative... Come spill some ink, coffee, and paint in your journals and SoulCollage card backings and backgrounds and see what found MAGIC happens! We will also explore several other ways to make journal page backgrounds and develop JUICY, soulful, content that helps you explore your heart and inner creativity while you learn something about yourself and share with others!! A great place to begin, or deepen your journey into Art Journaling. (Read more here about Art Journaling). Art supplies included but do bring a blank journal of at least 6”X8”.
Afternoon SoulCollage® Session

In this session we will discuss the “Transpersonal Suit” of the SoulCollage® card deck: The Source, The Soul Essence and the Witness which together represent the Spirit of Wholeness that holds together the many parts of ourselves we make cards for in the SoulCollage® process. Through a meditative art experience we will tap into the energy of the Source, and Soul Essence giving you imaginative fodder to create the cards (of any of the suits) that are ready to be made that day. Come browse in the oddles of images and supplies letting your imagination out for an afternoon of play and exploration.
Learn the fun intuitive process of SoulCollage® & make your own deck of 5”X8” collaged cards with deep personal meaning to help with life’s questions & transitions. Evolve your understanding of the relationships between your personality, your community, and your dreams, symbols, and soul through this gentle creative process.
Come experience creativity as a path to understanding your Heart and Soul in a safe, sacred, supportive space and join a community of kindred spirits to grow and evolve together. Beginners welcome and no previous art or collage experience is expected or required.
